We at Good Samaritan are committed to worship God with our whole being, disciple believers to deepen their relationship with Christ, build authentic community that fosters spiritual growth, and share the love and truth of Christ with our world.
As inheritors of the Sacred tradition we prioritize liturgical worship, sacraments, and the authority of the church hierarchy. We value the use of symbols, icons, and ritual as ways of connecting with God and deepening our faith. As Anglicans we worship in concert with the worldwide Anglican communion in our daily use of the Book of Common Prayer and the regular celebration of the Eucharist.
Sacred Faith
Dynamic Faith
As recipients of the Dynamic Faith we emphasize the personal experience of the Holy Spirit in striving for spiritual gifts such as healing, prophecy, and miracles. We practice extemporaneous prayer, contemporary and traditional worship music, and a sense of excitement and joy in our gatherings. We give every person the opportunity for an individual encounter with Jesus through personal prayer, and the laying on of hands.
Cohesive Faith
We share in the Cohesive lifestyle by leaning on the authority of Scripture, prioritizing evangelism, and modeling a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We value clear preaching, weekly Bible study, and outreach to those who are developing faith. Our community is serious about biblical preaching and teaching, and outreach programs that seek to connect with the wider community.
